So here I am. Six months ago, I would wake up each day and bus, train, cycle or walk into a job that involved little more than managing spreadsheets. Sure, I had to be good at spreadsheets and can now include skills such as the “Goal Seek” function on Microsoft Excel as strings to my bow. It took me a while to realise, but my role was based almost entirely around maths. And I was getting good at it...
This is my first post. Just something to get things moving, you know.
And what better way to begin than at the beginning? Below is my progress to date in a hand lettering project I have set myself to improve my design and typography skills. I have enjoyed playing with negative space, shadows, perspective and different pens and pencils.
I need to get a few things off my chest.
I keep hearing this question: “Have you seen Hereditary yet? Have you seen Hereditary yet?”
It’s driving me crazy.
On the bus, in the pub, in the office, at my house. Everywhere.
And I’m the one asking it.
